If you’re a regular reader (and I actually don’t think I have that many), you’ve probably noticed my posting frequency has really dropped off. There is a good reason, and he’s only 6 and a half months in the womb so far. But it doesn’t help you out as far as ideas for your wedding!

I’ve put out a call for Wedding Decorator contributors in the past and haven’t gotten much of a response. But I figured I would try again. So, if you love to talk (and write) about decorations and flowers or you attend a whole lot of weddings….blogging here might be right up your alley.

I know there are a lot of folks out there who go to a lot of weddings. Yes, oh yes, this I know. I can name three people off the top of my head right now, including Hoang, an old high school friend of mine, pictured above, who go to way more weddings in one year than I have in my adult life. Hoang is one of those wedding attenders who naturally takes photos of the flowers and decorations at the weddings she attends, which is why a few of her photos have been featured here.

However, this time I am also opening this offer up to other decorators and florists. Did you just have a great wedding that you want people to see? Want to direct more people to your own website? This may be just the opportunity for you. I may not be knowledgeable about every type of flower out there, but I’m pretty good at writing in such a way that people are able to find these posts. As we all know, online — if you build it, its not guaranteed they will come. I’ll help make sure that if you build it, they will find it.

I can sympathise with you regarding the lack of entries – the Wedding Industry keeps you busy Monday to Friday and on the weekends when most people have free time – we are busy at work !!

I found your website a while ago looking for ideas to help a friend with her wedding plans. Unfortunately she still has not set a date and I am not holding my breath! I am not an “official” wedding/party planner but I LOVE to plan parties and I help friends to save money on doing it themselves! I usually go over the top to get that “wow factor”! I am now in the middle of helping a friend that is actually going to get married with her wedding plans. She wants a rustic country style wedding with a little flair. I would love to send you pictures of the wedding, I just need to ask her first. Are you just looking for the floral arrangements, which we will be doing ourselves, or are you looking for overall wedding ideas?
